'My Only Hope'
What are you hoping in? Hope, especially in the scripture is not an if but a when. The challenge for hope is not in the maybe that it might come to pass, but in the dealing with the here and now until it does come to pass. Take for instance the return of the Lord. That is the 'hope' of every believer. He is definitely returning, but we just don't know the day nor the hour.
What about the believer's eternity in heaven. That is also our hope. We don't know when the day of our death may come. However, Paul wrote, 'to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.' A definite home for each and every person that has trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior. Those who are born again, into the family of God.
What hope does this world have? The only hope that exists is in our Lord Jesus Christ, and the life and eternity changing power that he offers anyone who believes.
Our prayer is that you will begin to ask what it means to be a believer if you don't know Christ. If you do our prayer is that you will live for Him, and share Him with those around you.
